It was a great day in Kindergarten. Reminder: Tomorrow is Dress Down Day. Students can wear black and orange.
In math, we worked hard on understanding greater than, less than, and equal to. Also, we have be working on ways to count. We are practicing counting and crossing out. In reading, we worked on Big Green Monster centers. Students are making a Monster, writing about our monster using adjectives, sentence structure, and labeling. In social studies we are learning about sequencing. We are writing about how we made our pizzas in Art Class. Using the vocabulary words first, next, then, and last. In religion, we are talking about how God Created the World. Each day we are talking about the story of Creation. Today, we talked about night and day. Have a wonderful night. Mrs. Barys It was a very busy Monday. We read Go Away Big Green Monster. We brainstormed Monster Adjectives. In math, we worked in math centers, the students worked on counting Halloween objects, greater and less than alligator, 1 more and 1 less, and big and small number sort. In religion, we brainstormed things that God Made. Finally, in science we will be talking about recycling. Have a wonderful night.

Mrs. Barys Hope everyone is having a fantastic week. In reading, we have been using colored chips to sequence the story "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you see?" We have been working in centers groups. We have been making brown bear sequence bracelets, I went walking sequence characters, learning about main idea, writing about a colored animal they might see on a walk, and completing mixed up sentences. We have been very busy. The letters of the week are e and r. In religion, the word of the week is "Share". We have been talking about helping others and being followers of Jesus. In science, we learned about man-made resources by watching a video on how crayons are made and painting our names using watercolors. In math, we have been working on the vocabulary words greater, less, and equal. We learned today the symbols and the alligator always eats the bigger number. Finally, in Secondstep we have been learning about ways to listen and focus. It has been a very busy week already. Have a wonderful night.

In math, we started to learn about greater than and less than. In religion, we talked about the word on of the week "Thank you" and the Rosary.
